P:I have a cough, but I also seem to wheeze a lot.

P:I've had it for some time, Doctor.

D:Do you cough a lot?

P:Yes, a lot.

D:Do you bring up phlegm or is it a dry cough?

P:I bring up quite a bit of phlegm, I'm afraid I might have asthma.

D:Can you describe for me what color it is, whether it's white, yellow or greenish, and what is it foamy or thick and sticky?

P:Yes, it's yellowish and feels kind of like jelly.

P:No, I don't think so.

P:Yes, just once I noticed some blood in it.

D:Have you taken any medication lately?

P:Yes, I was on some medication to thin my blood.
